Not training what you have learned through different kinds of environment and in different scenario training, are also two of the most common mistakes martial arts practitioners make. Most martial arts practitioners get used to the training environment like in the martial arts schools that they tend to forget that when they get attacked, it’s not going to be the same “safe” environment as in the dojo. Hence, train the way that you’re going to fight by working with different kinds of environments. You can simply change the surface, lighting, weather, debris and space to create a variety and get used to the other possible environments that you might get attacked in. Having such variety will make you a competent and efficient fighter. On the other hand, scenario training is knowing what’s coming your way; and having your game plan adapt to various scenarios.
