TECHNIQUE VS. CONCEPT SYSTEM: LEARNING HOW TO “FISH”

Know the difference between a technique-based system and a concept-based system. A technique-based system spoon-feeds their students; thus teaching them only one technique that may not prove to be useful in real-life. On the other hand, a concept-based system teaches students a set of self defense moves that adapt depending on the altercations they face at a certain time.
